Vineyard Northwest Kids Ministry

Vineyard Northwest Kids: 6 weeks – 2 years
This classroom is for children age 6 weeks to 2 years old. It is a vibrant, colorful room with a variety of toys and activities to bolster young minds. Our volunteers love to pray over the babies, rock them in our gliders, blow bubbles with them, and sing worship songs with them. The room is calm, loving, and joyful!

Vineyard Northwest Kids: 2 year olds
This classroom is for children that are 2 years old. The children get a chance to have lots of free play time, with an emphasis on sensory experiences and a chance to do the craft for the week. The curriculum for this room focuses on simple, powerful truths such as “God is miraculous,” “God makes me brave,” and “Jesus loves me.” We start to work with the children on sitting and having a lesson. The children practice a memory verse, hear a Bible story, have a small snack, dance and sing together, and also pray for one another each week. The Vineyard Northwest Kids: 2 year olds have a great time playing and learning about God together.

Vineyard Northwest Kids: 3 years – kindergarten
The Vineyard Northwest Kids: 3 years – kindergarten classroom is for children age 3 through Kindergarten. Ms. April is our Vineyard Northwest Kids: 3 years – kindergarten coordinator. Our Vineyard Northwest Kids: 3 years – kindergarten class starts out with free play and craft time. We begin our lesson time with worship where we dance and sing together. A small snack is served while listening to a Bible story or lesson. We engage in a group game and have a ministry time. During the ministry time, the kids have a chance to receive prayer and to pray for each other. They are learning to hear God speak to them through pictures, feelings, and words and how to pray for healing. We end our time together with small groups. The kids get a chance to color a page, get to know each other better, and talk about the lesson. The Vineyard Northwest Kids: 3 years – kindergarten room is busy, full of life, and bursting with love and joy!

Our curriculum includes the Jesus Storybook Bible, Soncatchers, and a variety of
Vineyard Resources materials.

Vineyard Northwest Kids: 1st-5th grade
The Vineyard Northwest Kids: 1st-5th grade classroom is for children in 1st through 5th grade. Ms. Alexandria is our Vineyard Northwest Kids: 1st-5th grade coordinator. The day starts with a chance for kids to chat, play foosball, color, or play a game. We then play an energetic group game and start the lesson. Our lessons focus on many different topics including: prophecy, healing prayer, how to read the Bible, Bible stories, and our identity in Jesus. We worship together— always with some high energy dance songs and also quiet, reflective songs. We close with ministry time. Our kiddos hear from God regularly and see healings happen each week as they pray for each other. This classroom is truly a place of worship, power, friendship, and fun!

Our curriculum includes material from Bethel Church, Vineyard Resources, and original Vineyard Northwest materials created by our coordinators, teachers, and director.
